Project Manager, Festa Center of Sustainability and Social Responsibility

 

Harpa Júlíusdóttir is a project manager at Festa, Center of Sustainability and Social Responsibility, in Iceland. Before coming to Festa she was the Managing Director for the United Nations Association in Iceland, and as such participated in advancing the SDG agenda both in the public and private sector. She holds a BA in economics and and McS in Strategic Management from the University of Iceland.

Festa is an Icelandic non-profit organisation with more than 140 associated members, which are combined of Icelandic companies, public organisations, universities, the City of Reykjavik and a few other municipalities. Festa’s motto is “Everything you do makes a difference”. The organisation is a catalyst for change and a bridge builder between and within the public and private sector, and focuses on sustainable development through the SDGs, climate change and corporate social responsibility.
