Isabella Holmgaard

Project Leader, Lifestyle & Design Cluster

Isabella Holmgaard is Project Leader of several circular economy projects at Lifestyle & Design Cluster and mainly responsible for the cluster’s international collaborations and network. Holmgaard has been a domain expert on circular economy since 2013, with several years of experience in circular business models, economic growth and sustainable development. Previously Holmgaard was the head of the Danish National Circular Economy Hub, where different industries work together to promote development of businesses, increase value chain collaboration and contribute to creating a circular Denmark. 

Lifestyle & Design Cluster is a Danish nationwide organisation with a strong circular economy profile and an organisation for the largest creative industries such as fashion and textile, furniture, and interior design. Lifestyle & Design Cluster works to identify, provide, and anchor new knowledge, and acts as a bridge builder between businesses, research and knowledge institutions with the purpose of strengthening the businesses’ innovation ability and competitiveness.

Isabella holds a MSc in Development and International Relations with specialisation in collaborative and circular economy from AAU (DK).
