Jyri Arponen is a passionate sustainable business professional with strong experience in business development and accelerating company growth with global networks. Now he works as a Project Director in Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra starting Fair Data program with Innovation Ecosystems. In Recent years he’s been focusing on how to turn the inefficiencies in linear value chains into business value and to improve performance of the companies with data driven circular business models. He has executed several business programs (incl. Circular Playbook with Nordic Innovation and several industries) and strategies in cleantech and in bio and circular economy with global partners. Prior to joining Sitra 2009 as a Business Director he held the position of CEO in advertising agency for eight years and was a member of the board in a global network of advertising agencies working with branding and digitalization strategies. He has held various positions in the Ministry of Trade and Industry and in European Networks focusing working with SMEs in different business and innovation ecosystems.
