Margareta Wahlström

Senior Scientist, VTT – Technical Research Centre of Finland

Margareta Wahlström (Senior Scientist) is Master of Science (Chem. Tech) from Helsinki University of Technology. She has over 30 year of experience about recovery of waste materials, value chain analysis and safe waste management, substitution of critical rawmaterials and sustainable use of waste in construction, including CE-marking of construction products.  She has also deep knowledge in EU legislation, especially in relation to hazardous substances in construction products. Furthermore, Margareta has actively participated in the standardisation work (CEN/TC 351 & TC 444). She is and has also been project leader and partner in numerous European, Nordic and national projects on recycling of construction wastes.
