Lára Kristín Þorvaldsdóttir

Youth Advisor to Iceland, Cataly(c)st; Environmental Engineer

Lára has an MSc in Environmental Engineering from DTU and has a background in both civil and environmental engineering from Iceland. She works at EFLA consulting engineers in Iceland, where she works with companies setting environmental targets and analyzing and reducing their environmental impacts. She isalso a youth advisor in the CATALYS(C)ST project, where we have hosted workshops and conferences spreading the importance of the circular economy. We believe that it is through circular economy that we can contribute to reaching our climate change goals. Her mission is to contribute to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions from industry and she wants to see that we reach our common goal of global warming to stay well below 2°C.
