Trond Moe is Managing Director of Nefco, the Nordic Green Bank. Originally from Norway, Trond has spent more than 20 years of his career with technology projects in Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa before joining Nefco in 2018. A Nordic-owned international financial institution and a pioneer in green banking, Nefco focuses on financing the global scale-up of Nordic small and medium-sized companies and it has over 200 Nordic SMEs in its portfolio. Nefco’s task is to accelerate the green transition by financing Nordic green solutions that have the potential to be scaled up on global markets – and help them attract additional finance from other sources. Since its establishment in 1990, Nefco has financed and implemented over 1,600 projects in energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean water and sanitation, waste management, circular economy and cleaner industrial processes, among others. www.nefco.int
