Enni Karikoski

Founder and CEO of Niimaar

Enni Karikoski is the Founder and CEO of Niimaar. She got a Msc in Finance, Environmental studies from the University of Helsinki, and Design from Elisava Design School in Barcelona.
Enni has worked across Europe in multinational tech companies, Finnish design companies and fast growing start ups during her career before Niimaar.

In 2016 Enni built Niimaar, the Zero Waste and Recycling Design brand from Finland together with the rest of the talented team. Niimaar creates award-winning Designer Recycling stations for homes & public spaces, always designing according to Circular Design Principles. The team consistently aims to change the behaviour from "make, take, dispose" to a more circular way of life and to stop the use of unnecessary single use plastics in the world. Also during their coastal "plogging" cleanups across Europe, the teams have collected more than 5 tonnes of plastic trash. Enni is an industry speaker in Circular Design, Waste & Recycling and Bio & Circular Economy in a multitude of international events.
