Can the circular economy solve the climate crisis?



The circular economy is often portrayed as one of the best solutions for the green transition. However, the big and fuzzy concept of circularity and all 114 definitions of the circular economy might create doubts about whether it can actually solve the climate crisis and ensure a sustainable future for us all.


With the deadline for humanity to learn to control global warming being less than 6 years away, we need to answer the questions; Whether circular economy can solve the most crucial problems of our planet and society? Is it possible to adopt it without the system change? Is it realistic to get there by year 2030?
