Annerieke Douma is the director of programme and business development at Circle Economy, leading the Cities Team that has supported and guided many cities and regions on their circular journey.

Annerieke sees the circular economy as one of the major solutions to address climate change whilst allowing global economies to gain social, economic, and ecological prosperity. Her team works towards making CE measurable and trackable, understanding which policy interventions support it, and ensuring that more global cities join the mission to become circular.
